What we keep
- If you set up a league's show: your Yahoo sign-in, locked (encrypted) so it can only be used to read that league each week (and for up to 30 minutes while you finish setting up); your email address, used for notices about your league, including a "please reconnect" notice sent at most once a day; the level and show name you chose.
- A summary of your league's scoring rules (which positions it scores) — not your teams, players, scores or standings — refreshed weekly and deleted within 29 days.
- If you listen: a random ID Yahoo gives us for your account, so we know you're in the league; a sign-in session that lasts 30 days.
- Your email only if you tick "Email me". We hold it for one hour after you sign in so the box can use it, and keep it only if you tick it. If you unsubscribe we delete it and keep a scrambled fingerprint of it, so we never email it again.
- If your league buys a pass: Stripe's payment ID and which weeks it paid for — never your card. If a payment is refunded, we keep its payment ID for good, so the same payment can't unlock the show again.
- Your IP address, for ten minutes, to stop people hammering the sign-in page.
What we never keep
- Nothing else about your league's teams, players, scores or standings is kept.
- Anything else Yahoo tells us about you when you sign in — name, birthday, photo — is thrown away immediately.
- Listeners' Yahoo sign-ins are never kept.
Episodes
Each episode — the audio, and the script and week's facts it was written from — is kept privately for 30 days. Only signed-in members of your league can play the audio; the script is never shown to anyone. Then both are deleted. There is no archive and no download.
Who else handles data
- Cloudflare runs our servers, storage and email, and keeps server logs for up to 7 days: request details such as your IP address, and our own diagnostic lines, which never contain league data.
- Google (Gemini) writes and voices the show from your league's week; it receives that week's facts and the script, never your sign-in or email. On the paid service we use, Google keeps these only for a limited time to detect misuse and does not use them to improve its products.
- Yahoo provides the fantasy data.
- Stripe takes payments. Your card, name, email and address go to Stripe directly — we never see your card. Stripe uses your address to work out any sales tax. We send Stripe only our own league number and which weeks the pass covers.
- When an episode fails, the operator gets an alert containing only our internal league number and an error code.
Your choices
- Stop emails any time with the unsubscribe link, or the button on the listen page.
- The person who set the show up can disconnect it; that deletes their Yahoo sign-in from our side.
- To see or delete anything we hold about you, or to be left out of your league's show, email admin@fantasypodcastai.com.
